Sometimes, therapeutic support may be required to help children, young people and their families. We provide therapeutic support for individuals and groups and aims to support the development of emotionally healthy children and young people. Additionally it aims to enable them to be resilient and receptive to learning, thus empowering them to reach their potential.
It is a sad fact that 1 in 4 children suffer from a psychological disorder. Even sadder that 1 in 10 children have a diagnosable Mental Health difficulty. That's almost 8 children in each UK classroom.
With parental consent, a child can be referred to us by anyone involved with their family; e.g. social worker, health visitor, CAMHS, teacher, youth or community worker.
If you feel that a child you work with or know could benefit from Play Therapy or if you need further advice and support, please contact us. All enquiries will be treated in confidence.
